was launched in December 2001 following the death of the Owano
family patriarch, Bernardino Owano (pictured above),
at the age of 100½. This site began as a tribute to him, but
has grown to include his seven siblings and their progeny. The
two flags represent the two countries Bern called home -- the
Philippines and the USA. |
